Jordan Neely is a consequence of the White Flight. He suffered because of systematic laws and cultures that were designed to deny him basic human needs leading him desperate do anything he could to survive.
Daniel Penny is a consequence of the White Flight. He is a middle class white male who is uneducated of the system of laws and cultures that has forced Black and Brown people into hyper ghettoized socioeconomic psychological deficiency.
Jordan Neely had CPTSD which is a consequence of a consistent unhealthy environment for his brain to properly develop in addition to continual trauma from a lack of basic needs. He lived most of his life in survival mode, not having a chance to properly develop his prefrontal cortex of reason or relationship. He lived in a nervous system response to survive.
This is a consequence of the White Flight.
Daniel Penny has PTSD from combat and military trauma. He is seemingly able maintain healthy relationships and has the monetary funds to heal and continue enjoying life, go to school, and purse his dreams.
What he doesn’t have is the appropriate support to work through the trauma that he endured serving the United States as a Marine.
This also is a consequence of the White Flight.
On May 1, 2023, Daniel Penny experienced a triggered response as a consequence of PTSD when an emaciated starving homeless Black man was pleading for food in a moment of survival mode. Daniel Penny, unable to control his emotional response or properly assess the situation and it’s severity, did not have the appropriate access to the prefrontal cortex of his brain to make rational decisions. Daniel murdered a Black innocent man, a civilian, while he was in a nervous system response as a consequence of his post traumatic stress disorder.
This public lynching is a consequence of the White Flight.
Daniel Penny has publicly stated his grief and regret of his behavior. He is now navigating additional trauma in his brain while under a detrimental amount of gaslighting and scrutiny.
There are many uneducated Americans calling him a ‘hero’ instead of addressing the White flight that has led to a public lynching of an innocent man. This deflective behavior is continuing to compromise the mental state of an uneducated, living veteran.

Conservative Republican leaders are supporting the public lynching of a homeless, starving, Black man that suffered as a direct result of the White Flight.
Daniel Penny is a scapegoat allowing the White flight to continue. He will psychologically suffer the rest of his life, not only as a veteran, but as a murderer, so that others can deflect the truth to stay as comfortable as possible.
Daniel Penny is only partially culpable for his actions as it is American religious and political leaders who are continuing to gaslight the American people, depriving them of appropriate education and refusing to take the appropriate action to ensure that every Black, Indigenous, Person of Color in this country, is safe.
American religious and political leaders are using deflective language directing the culpability on Daniel Penny as a “hero” as opposed to offering the appropriate education to the public and services to veterans to safeguard every family member, friend, and stranger around veterans suffering from PTSD.
If you do not know what the White Flight is, you are a pawn that the American government and religious leaders are leveraging to manipulate the publicly lynching of Black Americans.
